Over the past 2 years, I have grown to appreciate “technical” outerwear. Or in general; companies who put some thought into what they produce. The important things to look out for is the cut of the garment, what materials its made out of, how durable it is, placement of pockets (if any), and any features that it may have.
TAD GEAR has caught my attention for being a company who repeatedly churns out good product season after season. Their stuff lasts forever and is very innovative. There is a reason for everything they do to their garments and each garment has a purpose. Testimonials from regular joes to military folk have been good.
Its expensive but worth every penny. I’d rather be warm and dry in my 300$ Stealth Hoodie than cold and wet in my thin cotton BBC Icecream hoody any day of the week.
If you have a chance to check them out or give their garments a try, I would highly recommend that you do. Especially if your lifestyle / activities fit what TAD gear has to offer.

They also make bacpacks as well.
